Growing up as the second oldest of five children, I learned early that financial security isn’t something you’re handed; it’s something you build. My parents made me and my siblings get a part-time job to pay for the things we wanted, whether that was lunch money, new sneakers, or saving for college. That taught me just how hard-earned and how valuable every single dollar really is.
